First of all, I would like to thank all my friends for making this blog possible (even if this blog is not that interesting).
To all TENNIS fans:
Konnichiwa! I’m a tennis fan too! :D I started tennis at the age of 11. If I’m not mistaken, it was February 14, 2011, Saturday, Valentine’s Day. It was just an accident meeting TENNIS. It’s because of my being “chismoso” that I heard about TENNIS. When I started playing, I felt adrenaline running through my veins, and then I started to like tennis, then, it became my favorite sport. It’s like tennis is running through my whole body, in every path of blood in my body, in every cell of my body. So much for that, lets jump to the part why I made this blog.

One fine day, as I was having my training at the tennis court, I and my friends were talking about Prince of Tennis. As we go along with the talking, one of my friends asked, “Is there any shot that we can copy?” My brain starts to wander what shots we can copy so that we will improve in TENNIS (in short: just to look cool and others will be amaze..WOW..). So I made this blog especially to my friends who are playing tennis so that they or we will improve in TENNIS. :D Enjoy!
Prince of Tennis Shots
Through the Legs shot:
(effective when you are near the net)
Start by standing still near the net. If the ball passes overhead, try to run backwards facing the baseline. Raise your forehand shot 90 degrees to your chest. Wait for the ball to bounce. After the ball bounces, and returns about shin level, bring your racket down to hit the ball. As you do so, turn your left foot outwards (if you're right-handed) or right foot (if your left-handed). As you make contact with the ball, allow your foot on the same side as your racket hand to pivot inwards.
Moon Volley/Topspin Lob:
It's just like having a simple flat or sliced lob but you must tilt your racket and hit the ball like you're having a forehand stroke. But in this shot, you must raise your racket above your head while hitting the ball to increase the height taken by the ball and to increase topspin so that the ball will drop faster and then kicks toward the back fence.
Buggy Whip Shot:
This the only shot in Prince of Tennis that I don't know how they do it in real world. There are pros doing it but I don't really know how they do that kind of shot. maybe they are gifted in tennis that they can actually buggy whip. I just include this type of shot because I think that this shot is amazing.
Last but not the least....
Twist serve:
Use the grip closest to the eastern backhand that still allows you to make clean contact with the ball. Moving towards eastern backhand gives you stronger spin. Then toss the ball so that you'll be able to meet it a little behind your head. NOTE: bend your knees as you toss the ball. Straighten your legs and your feet have lifted off the ground. Then elbow up, racket down, body arch. When you are in the point of contact, your body must be straightened and also your elbow before contact. Then follow through to the right (if right-handed) or left (left-handed).
I've been practicing this shots until now but i couldn't still get it, especially the buggy whip shot for i don't really know how to do it. The purpose of this blog is just to inform my friends that there are shots that can be copied from the anime Prince of Tennis. Thanks for Reading my blog!.
